The stand that we recommend is a configuration of 4 x 12” cinder blocks at $2.50 a piece at Ace.  I have been tempted by  Hamptons Rain Barrel stand https://www.hayneedle.com/product/hamptonsrainbarrelstand1.cfmsource=mspla&kwid=RainBarrels%20level05&tid=RBC001-1

but am suspicious of durability. Barrels weigh close to 500 lbs when full.
