****This Program is closed for 2024*** NO ADDITIONAL ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.Wakefield is a leader among the many communities in Massachusetts that are advocating conservation and smart water practices by offering discounted rain barrel to residents. The Town strongly encourages the use of rain barrels as part of its town-wide water conservation initiative. Collected rain water helps during times of drought and aids in controlling runoff during heavy rains. It can be used for watering gardens, washing cars, and many other non-potable purposes. Using rainwater reduces overall water demand. This is especially valuable in times of drought and restrictions due to contamination. When rain arrives in torrents, diverting some into rain barrels helps slow down runoff and limits erosion. And because rainwater isn’t chlorinated, it’s great for plants and lawns. Scroll down to find out how to purchase your discounted rain barrel, help your community manage its water supplies, minimize storm water runoff and start saving money on your water bill.
Wakefield is offering an additional $20 off for the first 120 barrels sold. This offer is for Wakefield residents only. If you are a Wakefield resident, use the coupon WAK24, Terms apply.
