As of November 18, 2025 approximately 22% (2324 square miles) of Massachusetts is under drought conditions and 22% (2385 square miles) is abnormally dry. Haverhill is currently in a drought warning zone. To help the city manage its water resources, Haverhill is offering discounted rain barrel to residents.
