Amesbury DPW is offering rain barrels to residents to encourage rain water harvesting and storing. Rain Barrels can be purchased at ta discount and will be delivered for distribution in June. Rain Barrels help homeowners offset the rising cost of water and help the town to manage water supplies.
This program is closed for the season. If you are interested in purchasing a discounted barrel please review the options below:
Thru a neighboring community program: You can participate in neighboring programs unless it says for residents only. Please check distribution time and date. You must be available or make arrangements for someone to pick up at that specific window. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Pick Up at our plant in Hyde Park, MA. If you are looking to purchase for pick up at our plant in Hyde Park, please click on SHOP and use the coupon puhp. Lead time is approximately 7-10 days, orders must be placed in advance and we notify your when your order is ready. Please do not come to our location before receiving notification as it is a manufacturing plant not a retail organization. Mon- Friday pick up only.

Special Note about Color of the Unpainted Rain Barrel
Barrels come in black or gray, we cannot guarantee which color will be available at time of distribution. If color is important please select either painted Nantucket Gray or Earth Brown (almost black.) Currently we do not have any gray barrels available, this may change at the distribution.
