The Great American Rain Barrel is a byproduct of our primary  business, food importing. The barrels are shipping drums used to bring specialty food from Mediterranean countries. The shipping drums are made in European countries. Once they are shipped to our plant, in Hyde Park, MA, they are emptied and repurposed into The Great American Rain Barrel.
