As of November 18, 2025 approximately 22% (2324 square miles) of Massachusetts is under drought conditions and 22% (2385 square miles) is abnormally dry. Bellingham is among the many water smart communities encouraging residents to conserve water with the use of rain barrels . Rain barrels help the city manage its water supplies, minimize storm water overflow and help homeowners keep the water bills down while helping the community overall to prevent toxins from entering into aquifers.
Bellingham is offering an additional $20 off for the first 100 barrels sold. This offer is for Bellingham residents only. If you are a Bellingham resident, use the coupon BELL26. One coupon per household. For purchases of multiple barrels, the coupon will apply to the first barrel only. Non residents are not eligible for this discount. Barrels ship with spigot, plugs, screen, lid overflow valves, flex tube and instructions inside the barrel. The only additional accessories you may want to consider are the Diverter and the Polished River Stones.
